This is a personal website I created to bring all my interests into one place, see how I grow as a person, post blogs, showcase my artworks, and learn about coding so I can customize my webpages and layout to my taste!

w h y　"r o m i w o r l d" ?

As you may have guessed by now, I'm Romi, and this is my world!!! The name Romi originated from my 2018 Discord name, “sugaromi”, a combination of “sugar” and “Kuromi” (Sanrio). I have since evolved into a different person and shortened my online name to just “Romi”!

w h y　n e o c i t i e s ?

I have tried to be active on social media, but the thought of keeping track of +5 accounts across different apps just wasn't great. I eventually got tired of trying to keep it up, and the constant notifications and ads became draining. Something about Neocities is just so relaxing. I love the community here. I discovered it in 2024 after watching a YouTube video about building your own personal aesthetic website. I was coding on SpaceHey before this, but have since abandoned my account, along with other socials.
